Núñez Construction handled several projects, where I was responsible for the design, plans, and inspections. They also worked on the construction of several beach houses. Ludwing was recommended to us by our real estate agent. We had just moved to Costa Rica and were unfamiliar with how things worked. We bought a house in a community with a 12-year-old HOA (Homeowners Association). Although the structure was in good condition, it needed a complete renovation.
Initially, we worked with another contractor we met locally, but he was lazy and seemed to treat his employees poorly. Then we met Ludwing, who was very professional and provided us with a detailed estimate for the work we wanted done.
The community had specific work schedules, and Ludwig's team always arrived and left on time, working six days a week. They even attended church after their short Saturday shifts. My family and I lived in the house while the renovation was underway, and the scope of the project expanded when we discovered the Núñez family's vast experience.
During [part of] the remodel, we were not in Costa Rica, but Ludwing kept us informed with daily updates, which gave us complete confidence in their team to handle the project in our absence.
The team was always very professional and respectful of our space. They were punctual, organized, and demonstrated a high level of commitment.
The project was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we didn't require them to wear masks, they offered to do so. There were issues with the local concrete supply chain, but Ludwing was resourceful and found workarounds to avoid delaying the project.
We are very satisfied with the final result. More than a year after completing the work, we had a problem with the electric gate. We called Ludwing and they fixed it almost immediately.
